WHAT IS THE SPRUCE KIDS CLUB?
The Spruce Kids Club is a non-profit dedicated to fostering leadership skills in children while giving back to the community.
Through a uniquely hands-on educational program, students are taught to see the issues around them and experience first hand how they can generate meaningful change in response. As a result, they not only gain valuable skills such as creativity, leadership and responsibility, but also grow as compassionate human beings with a lifelong desire to help those around them.
OUR PROGRAM
In line with our mission of making quality education accessible to all, our program is completely free and is a amazing opportunity for ages 8-13 to learn how to think differently, develop life long skills, and use their own ideas and passions to impact their communities in a meaningful way.
OUR IMPACT
The uniqueness of this model not only means a tremendous impact on the kids we work with, but also a tremendous impact on our surrounding community. Since starting 5 years, our projects have raised over $13,000 in support of charities across Calgary, while fostering connections, and providing others with an avenue to get involved.
